Dublin; February, 2003: Infacta Ltd., was awarded the Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 Technology
Special Award in a ceremony in Dublin at the end of February 2003. This award recognises
companies who have attracted the attention of the programme organisers, and Infacta stood
out to them for its achievement and contribution to the Irish technology sector.

Commenting on the award, Jonathan Hill, founder and managing director of Infacta says, “The
list of award recipients represents the cream of Ireland's fastest growing technology and

Infacta Ltd. recognised as a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Winner
Infacta has been ranked number five in the recently announced Deloitte Technology Fast 50
Programme awards. Details of the annual ranking of Ireland’s fastest growing technology
companies were recently announced in Dublin. For Infacta, the award comes after the company
showed phenomenal growth in the last three years. Announcing the winners, David O’Flanagan,
Partner with Deloitte, Dublin stated: “The Fast 50 Programme has always been a reliable
indicator of whether innovation is leading to more growth and wealth creation. These
companies have demonstrated how to survive and thrive in today's market by helping their
customers reduce their costs and improve their performance.”
Accepting the award, Managing Director Jonathan Hill commented that “in a highly competitive

Entrepreneur of the Year

Jonathan Hill, Managing Director of Infacta, has been presented with the prestigious
entrepreneur of the year award 2003 by the Sligo Chamber of Commerce. Infacta was selected
from a highly competitive group of companies representing all areas of business in Sligo.
Presenting the award, Pauric O’Ceidhe, Managing Director of Aer Arann, commented on the
large number of applications and the difficult job the external judging panel had in
deciding who the winner would be. The Company was given the top award for
“entrepreneurial flair in the establishment and operation of Infacta.“
In accepting his award, Jonathan Hill expressed his delight at the recognition of the
effort which he and his colleagues have put in over the recent past. “We are very proud
of our innovative software and customer service. This has led to us having clients in
over 130 countries worldwide. An award such as entrepreneur of the year recognises the
hard work and dedication of our team, inspiring us to create further successes in the
group messaging software market.”
The awards ceremony took place in Sligo on 23 October, with the President of the Sligo
Chamber of Commerce and the Lord Mayor of Sligo in attendance. They expressed great
confidence in the future of business in Sligo given the standard of entries and the
calibre of Infacta, the winning company of the 2003 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Infacta wins Sligo County Enterprise Award

Infacta have received the prestigious Enterprise Award 2003 from the Sligo County Enterprise
Board. At a presentation ceremony on 22 October, Jonathan Hill accepted this award from Chief
Executive of Sligo County Enterprise Board, John Reilly. Infacta was chosen from a county-wide
group of competitive small to medium sized businesses, all stringently vetted by the Sligo
County Enterprise Board and a panel of consultants. Infacta emerged as the highest scorer in
the competition, marking it out as a leading company in County Sligo.
“When Infacta relocated to Sligo, the County Enterprise Board provided excellent support for
the company, and the whole Enterprise Network is premier resource for international business.
To be recognised, once again, as a key international player in the software industry is indeed
an achievement” said Managing Director, Jonathan Hill on accepting the award. Infacta will
now go forward to the all-Ireland final of the Enterprise Awards where their business will
be pitted against top level business enterprises in all areas.
The National Enterprise Awards ceremony took place in Portlaoise, Ireland, on 27 November 2003.

Infacta wins National Enterprise Technology Award

Infacta Ltd., a client of Sligo County Enterprise Board continued its recent award-winning
run at the City & County Enterprise Board’s National Enterprise Awards. The Awards, featuring
the area winners of the 35 City & County Enterprise Boards, were held in the Heritage Hotel,
Portlaoise on November 27th. Infacta won the prestigious ‘Technology Award’, and received a
prize of a cheque for €2,500 together with a specially commissioned commemorative award.
It is the 6th Award the Company have received during 2003. Earlier in the year, the Compnay
received a Deloitte & Touche ‘Fast 50’ Special Award, and were ranked in the top 5 Deloitte
Technology Fast 50 Programme Awards. Infacta Ltd. then received two awards at the Sligo
Chamber of Commerce Awards: ‘Best Manufacturing Enterprise’, while the Managing Director,
Jonathan Hill received the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award. The Company also won the County
Enterprise Board sponsored ‘County Enterprise Award’ prior to receiving the National Award.
